- b) Development Methodology: It helps define the schedule planning methodology, estimating techniques, schedule preparation tools and techniques used to control the schedule. Note: The development method is which one or more of predictive, iterative or adaptive tool will be used for the project, and the development method will also affect the scheduling of schedule activities.

- Data analysis: The analysis of options may include determining which schedule planning methods to use and how to integrate the different methods into the project. In addition, it may include determining the level of detail in the schedule, the duration of rolling planning, and the frequency of reviews and updates. - Progress Management Plan
The schedule management plan is an integral part of the project management plan, establishing guidelines, specifying activities for the preparation, and monitoring and controlling the project schedule.
