The city, once home to millions of people, is now home to only a few hundred thousand, many of whom are haunted by the ghosts of those who have passed on. From abandoned buildings to crumbling monuments, Kyiv is home to some of the most haunted places in all of Europe.

Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, is a city of ghosts. For centuries, it has been the home to dozens of buildings and churches that are now empty and hauntingly quiet. The city’s many tragedies – from the Russian Revolution to the war with Russia in 2014 – have left their mark on Kyiv, and its ghosts are no exception.

Kyiv is an ancient city with a rich history. But it’s also a city that’s been haunted by the ghosts of those who have died in recent years. It’s a topic that’s been heavily debated, but no one knows for sure what’s causing the ghosts to haunt Kyiv.
