The Cowboy’s non-conference schedule features games against teams such as Utah State, Colorado State and Northern Colorado, while their conference slate includes matchups against Boise State, Oregon and Oregon State.
Wyoming basketball teams are in the Mountain West Conference. The MWC is a part of the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship. Wyoming’s home court is the Arena-Auditorium at the University of Wyoming.

Wyoming basketball schedules are released in late September. The Cowboy basketball team plays a home-and-home season with Colorado State, playing in Fort Collins on Nov. 24 and Dec. 1. Wyoming will also play the Utah State Aggies on Nov. 28th in Laramie and the Nevada Wolf Pack on Dec. 5th at the Mackay Events Center in Cody.

The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team has had a long and successful history. The Cowboys have made it to the NCAA Tournament 13 times, most recently in 2016 where they advanced to the Elite Eight. They have also won the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) tournament twice and appeared in the NCAA Tournament six other times. This season, they are led by first-year head coach Larry Eustachy who is building a young team that is looking to make some noise in Division I basketball.
